RACQ spokesperson Kirsty Clinton said the AGM, which would be held on 20 November, would allow members to learn more about the Club’s initiatives, achievements of the past financial year and its financial management.
“RACQ members are based across Queensland, so to make things easier, this year we’re going to bring the meeting to them and make it possible for more members to be part of,” Ms Clinton said.
“The webcast will enable members to watch the AGM from the comfort of their homes or workplace.
“In future years, we hope to enhance the capability to include two-way real time interaction with members via weblink, allowing them to vote and ask questions of Board members and executives.”
Members could cast their vote online or by post before the AGM and then tune in via the weblink on the day.
