The data, collected by Roy Morgan in its recent Net Trust Score (NTS) survey, saw RACQ listed alongside some of the country’s largest national and international brands, with the Club making its maiden appearance on the list at number nine.
RACQ Group CEO Ian Gillespie said the Queensland mutual’s place in the top 10 was a direct reflection of its ongoing commitment to its members and the community.
“The fact a State-based company like ours was recognised in the top 10 of a national survey is a real testament to the strong brand RACQ has created and nurtured for more than 100 years,” Mr Gillespie said.
“RACQ operates wholly and solely for the benefit of its members, so this recognition is great reinforcement that we’re on track to delivering what our members want and need.”
Mr Gillespie said the recent addition of banking to the brand’s product portfolio was in direct response to member requests and was well accepted by members.
“RACQ Bank has seen a 14 percent increase to its membership base in less than 12 months, with the RACQ brand attracting more than 10,000 new members,” he said.
“We want to thank our more than 1.7 million members for their loyalty and can reassure them we won’t rest here and will continue to strive to be the best Club we can be.”
