Voted on by consumers nationwide, the 2018 ‘Recommendation and Loyalty Study’ pinned RACQ against major national insurers as well as other State-based motoring club insurers.
RACQ CEO Insurance John Myler said the Club was proud to accept the award.
“For a State-based insurer to take out a national award is exceptional,” Mr Myler said.
“We have a great team at RACQ working hard every day solely for the benefit of our members. This award shows us we’re on the right track.
“However, we won’t rest, we’ll continue to strive to be better.
“We’re undertaking a significant amount of work to improve our motor claims processes, making them even simpler and more convenient for our members.
“I’m thrilled to receive this award, and equally thrilled to see how much more we can do for members in the near future.”
Engaged’s Carissa Roberts said RACQ’s Net Promoter Score of 40 percent was well above the category average of eight percent, and this was largely due to the full customer experience RACQ offers.
“Other insurance brands have started to offer discounts on a variety of goods and services, but nobody owns this territory better than motoring clubs,” Ms Roberts said.
“Being the most recommended brand in this category is not just about insurance features and service. Offering their members more than simply insurance was the key to creating a clear positive point of difference that enabled their members to promote their brand.”
