RACQ’s Paul Turner said it was a remarkable achievement to be able to provide membership, services and benefits to so many Queenslanders.
“We have proudly been the voice of our members since 1905 and over that time we have expanded the offerings to Queenslanders to now include Roadside Assistance, Insurance, Travel and, most recently, the launch of RACQ Bank,” Mr Turner sai
“RACQ now has a presence in more than 70 percent of all Queensland households and that truly is an extraordinary depth of representation across our State.
“Our members are our DNA and each and every day we work to provide them with the highest quality customer service and make sure we always have their interests first.”
RACQ was Queensland’s largest motor insurer and second largest home insurer and also provided extensive community support through the activities of the RACQ Foundation, road safety education programs, consumer and motoring advice, and its long-term sponsorship of community rescue helicopter network across the state.
Mr Turner said every service offered and every discount delivered helped to make RACQ membership a more rewarding experience for all.
“RACQ is a mutual company, owned by its members and operated for their benefit and the wellbeing of the Queensland community,” he said.
“Maintaining trust is just as important when it comes to advocacy as it is with our service delivery.
“We continue to work tirelessly on our advocacy efforts on behalf of members – and Queensland motorists generally – on what was in their best interests from a safety, environmental and economic perspective.
“Our members should be rest assured that we will always have the mind of a business but the heart of a club.”
